InnlanternCairo, Luxor & Aswan guide

Affiliate disclosure

Innlantern is free to read. Here is exactly how it earns money.

Updated 11 Oct 2026

Buttons and links such as "See prices on Booking.com" are affiliate links. They pass through an affiliate partner (currently Stay22) and open the hotel's page on Booking.com with your dates. If you then book, the partner may pay Innlantern a commission.

  • You pay the same price. The commission comes from the partner, not from you.
  • We do not see your personal data, only anonymous reports of bookings and commissions.
  • Affiliate links are marked in the code as sponsored (`rel="sponsored"`) and open in a new tab.

We may join other affiliate programmes in the future, for example Booking.com's own programme. This page will list them.

City pages can show a "Featured" box with hotels that pay to appear there. It is always labelled "Featured · advertisement". Featured hotels have the same kind of page as every other hotel, with the same pros and cons. How Featured places work.

What money does not change

No commission or payment changes which hotels are in the guide, their scores, their texts or their downsides. Hotels cannot pay for a review. The method is on how we choose and review.
