Getting there and around

From Las Vegas

Take I-15 north, then UT-9 through Zion and US-89, or I-15 to UT-14 and US-89; roughly three hours either way.

To Zion

The east entrance is about half an hour away on US-89 and UT-9, and Zion Canyon about an hour. The Zion–Mount Carmel Tunnel on this road needs a permit for vehicles 7 ft 10 in (2.4 m) wide or 11 ft 4 in (3.4 m) tall or more.

To Bryce, Page and the North Rim

Bryce Canyon is about 1.5 hours north on US-89 and Byway 12, Page and Lake Powell a little over an hour east, and the North Rim about 1.5 hours south. Check the North Rim's status first: the Dragon Bravo fire of July 2025 destroyed the Grand Canyon Lodge.
