Why stay here
- Rooms for three or fourIt only lists a triple and a quadruple (35 m²), with air conditioning, a balcony, a private bathroom and a fridge. For a family, one large room at around €180 for three January nights when we checked (about €60 a night for the whole room) can cost less than two doubles elsewhere.
- On the east edge, facing the CornicheOn the map it is the easternmost of the island guest houses in this guide, close to the channel that separates Elephantine from the city: about 1.9 km to the railway station and 0.9 km to the Nubian Museum, in a straight line.
- A hot tub and halal breakfastThe listing includes a hot tub, unusual among the village guest houses, and a halal breakfast. Reception speaks Arabic and English.
Good to know before you book
- No Booking.com score yetIt is new on Booking.com and had no guest score there when we checked on 11 Oct 2026. On Google Maps it has 4.8 from 121 reviews. That is a solid signal, but it has no sub-scores to show weak points the way its neighbours do.
- Later check-inCheck-in runs from 15:00 to 23:00, later than the noon start at ABU, Fadl Kato and Kashta. If you arrive on a morning train, plan to leave bags and explore first.
- Ferry crossing and no child policyAs everywhere on Elephantine, you reach the city by the public ferry, paid in cash. The listing sets no age from which children pay as adults, so confirm the price for your children when you book. Pets are not allowed.
Rooms
There are only two choices. The triple room works for three adults or a couple with one child. The quadruple room (35 m²) is the one to pick for a family of four, and one of only two rooms for four on the island in this guide; the other is the deluxe quadruple at ABU Nubian Guest House.
Couples looking for a double will find better fits at Fadl Kato, also on the east side, or Kashta.
