Why stay here
- Staff and cleanliness score highestIt scores 8.8 on Booking.com from 308 reviews (checked 12 Oct 2026). Staff is the standout at 9.7, followed by cleanliness at 9.2 and value for money at 9.2.
- A room for almost every groupThe guest house lists eleven room types, from king rooms with a balcony to a superior quadruple, several family rooms and two suites. Groups of three or four have more choice here than in most Giza guest houses.
- Free airport transfer and a terraceThe hotel lists a free airport transfer, which takes care of the long first ride across Cairo. Breakfast is served on a terrace that looks towards the museum and the pyramids, and there is a garden and a shared kitchen.
- Staff who speak Spanish, German and FrenchBesides Arabic and English, the listing says staff speak German, Spanish and French. That helps when you arrange taxis, tours or an early breakfast for a museum slot.
Good to know before you book
- Children pay as adults from 6From age 6, a child is charged the adult rate. Extra beds are free for over-5s, but there are no cots, so families with a baby need to ask before booking.
- Location is its lowest scoreLocation scores 8.3, the weakest of its sub-scores. The listing gives about 3.2 km to the Grand Egyptian Museum and 3.5 km to the pyramids, so you will use taxis for both, despite the name.
- How you payWhen we checked, payment was taken through Booking.com, and the hotel asks for cash for extras such as meals or tours. Carry some Egyptian pounds.
- Mid-range price for GizaIt was around €77 a night for two in mid-January 2027 when we checked, with breakfast and free cancellation. That is more than the small family-run inns near the Sphinx gate, which score higher. Prices change, so compare on your dates.

Rooms
Couples can choose the king with balcony, the deluxe double with balcony or the superior king; for a few nights more, the junior suite with balcony or the executive suite add space. If you want to look out from your room, pick one of the balcony types.
For three, there are the standard triple and the deluxe triple, and for four the superior quadruple. Families have the family double, the family room with balcony and the deluxe family suite. Remember that children from 6 count as adults on price, so compare a family room with two doubles before you book.

Getting there and around
From Cairo International Airport
Giza is on the opposite side of the city, roughly an hour to an hour and a half by road depending on traffic. The hotel lists a free airport transfer; send your flight details in advance. Our guide to getting from Cairo airport to your hotel has the other options.
From Sphinx International Airport
Sphinx airport, on the Cairo–Alexandria desert road west of Giza, is usually a much shorter drive than Cairo International. Ask whether the free transfer covers it.
To the sights
The Grand Egyptian Museum is about 3.2 km and the pyramids about 3.5 km away, a short taxi ride each. For the plateau, ask for the visitor centre on the Cairo–Fayoum road. Downtown and Islamic Cairo are an hour or more in traffic.
