Why stay here

  • The strongest scores in KingmanIt scores 8.6 on Booking.com from 1,754 reviews (checked 16 Oct 2026) and 4.5 on Google Maps from 1,827 reviews, the highest of the three Kingman places in this guide. Staff (9.1), comfort (9.0) and cleanliness (8.9) all score well, and Wi-Fi reaches 9.7.
  • Breakfast, pool and gymThe hotel lists a free breakfast, a seasonal outdoor pool, a hot tub, a fitness centre, a business centre and a guest laundry. Rooms have a microwave, a fridge and a coffee maker, which helps on a road trip.
  • Good for familiesCots are free for children up to 6, and an extra bed costs US$10 per stay. The two-room suite with three queen beds gives a family of five or six two separate rooms.
  • Dogs are welcomePets are allowed, with possible charges. In this part of Route 66 that is not a given: the Arizona Inn and the Ramblin Rose do not accept them.

Good to know before you book

  • At the east end of townThe hotel is on East Andy Devine Avenue (Route 66), about 4.4 km in a straight line from the Arizona Route 66 Museum. You will drive to downtown Kingman rather than walk.
  • It costs about twice a motelIt is in price tier 3, at around €130 a night for two in mid-January 2027 when we checked, converted from US dollars. That is roughly double the Arizona Inn; value for money scores 8.7.
  • The pool is seasonalThe outdoor pool is listed as seasonal, so do not count on it in winter. The hot tub and the gym are listed without that note.
  • A chain hotelThis is a Best Western, with the comforts and the uniformity that brings. If you want the character of an old Route 66 motel, look at Seligman instead. Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out by 11:00.

Rooms

Couples can choose the king suite, which gives more space than a standard room, or a room with two queen beds. The two-room suite with three queen beds is the pick for a large family or two couples travelling together.

For travellers with reduced mobility, the hotel lists an accessible king room with a roll-in shower and an accessible room with two queen beds. If you need one of these, book that type by name rather than asking at the desk.
