Why stay here

  • The top score in WilliamsIt scores 9.0 on Booking.com from 1,943 reviews (checked 16 Oct 2026), the highest overall score of the Williams hotels in this guide, from a large number of reviews. On Google Maps it has 4.4 from 421 reviews.
  • Clean, and rated for its staffCleanliness scores 9.4 and staff 9.5, its two best sub-scores. Every sub-score is 9.1 or higher, which is unusual for a motel at this price.
  • The lowest price in Williams hereIt is in price tier 2, at around €95 a night for two in mid-January 2027 when we checked, converted from US dollars: the cheapest of the Williams hotels in this guide for those dates. Value for money scores 9.2.
  • A Route 66 motel that works as a train baseIt is on Route 66 at the east end of downtown Williams, about 0.8 km in a straight line from the Grand Canyon Railway depot, roughly a 10-minute walk. Parking is free and right outside, which is what you want on a road trip.

Good to know before you book

  • Cards onlyThe motel takes cards only, not cash, according to its policy on Booking.com. That is easy to plan for but worth knowing if you carry dollars for the road.
  • Children from 9 pay as adultsAll ages are welcome, but from age 9 a child is charged as an adult, and there are no cots or extra beds. A family with older children should compare the total with the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel, which adds extra beds.
  • No pool, no breakfast listedThe facilities are those of a motel: free parking, Wi-Fi, family rooms and a barbecue area. Rooms have a microwave, a small fridge and a coffee maker, so breakfast in the room is easy; for a pool, look at the Railway Hotel.
  • Check-in closes at 21:00Check-in runs from 15:00 to 21:00. If you are driving from Las Vegas or Phoenix and may arrive late, tell the motel in advance. Pets are not allowed.
